Ivon Huerta is from Peru, and decided to come to Utah to pursue her dreams. First, she got her MPA at BYU, one of her biggest goals as a professional. Then, she accepted the offer to be the Executive Director of Green Hill Far Away Foundation running educational scholarships, making her dream come true to serve people. Many angels supported her educational goals. And now, she leads a nonprofit that provides access to music to everyone!!! She could not be more grateful. She still remembers that day when she wanted a professional piano—when she was 8 years old—but her parents could not afford it. Now she feels blessed to be a part of an organization that breaks down socioeconomic and generational barriers by providing quality music experiences for all.
