Pathways

Mundi Project, Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation, and Utah Music Teachers Association are proud to present Pathways, a new music outreach experience for young musicians and young professionals in Utah. The intention of Pathways is to foster experiences emulating career musicians who give back to the community through performances.
For young professionals (“Panelists”), Pathways offers the experience of mentoring young musicians and designing outreach programs with professional support from all three presenting organizations. We welcome college students to apply for an interview before June 30th to be a part of this exciting new approach to community engagement!
Young musicians (7th–12th grade) can apply to be Pathways Performers. Performers collaborate with other musicians to create a concert program and experience the process of refining a program through multiple performance opportunities at elementary schools in Salt Lake County as part of Bachauer’s Music-In-Our-Schools. Applications for performers open July 1st and young musicians are encouraged to apply before August 15th for a live audition and interview.
Pathways will select three Panelists and six Performers to lead and contribute to this exciting music outreach program.
