Community Coordinator & Teaching Artist
As an independent piano teacher, Cody Goetz places an emphasis on discovering student artistry and creating community through music. Central to his studio culture is a focus on the process-based development of pianistic excellence through a variety of styles and genres rooted in the engagement of one’s community through performance.
As a strong advocate of community-made music, Cody seeks to bolster Mundi Poject’s presence throughout Utah as the new Community Coordinator. He seeks to enhance the quality of life of all Mundi Project participants by co-creating opportunities with our community partners for expanded program access in music education, performance, and musical instruments.
Cody joins the organization after graduating with a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy as well as a Certificate in Arts Administration from the University of Colorado Boulder. Previous studies include a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and an additional major in Spanish at the University of Wisconsin Madison.
