MESSAGE FROM HANA JANATOVA, FOUNDER OF MUNDI PROJECT
After a three-month process, it is my pleasure to announce that the Board of Directors has selected Dr. Ruby Chou as the new Executive Director to lead Mundi Project into its next chapter.
Dr. Chou comes to the Mundi Project with a strong commitment to uphold and guide the mission and vision of the organization – to provide open access to pianos, music education, and innovative performance opportunities for the youth and families of Utah.
As the founder of Mundi Project, I am personally thrilled and fully endorse the Board of Directors’ selection. Her expertise as a pianist and educator will serve the continuation of Harmony Hub, Piano Bank, and Mundi Live programs, while providing new opportunities for collaborations and partnerships within the arts community.
When asked about her appointment as the new Executive Director, Dr. Chou said, “I recognize the societal and artistic responsibilities that come with being an integral part of a non-profit organization that the Utah community needs and cherishes. I will strive to improve and expand our education programs for the community members and young musicians.”
If you would like to be a part of this new chapter, please contact Ruby at firstname.lastname@example.org! We are always looking for people with time and skill to contribute towards community music engagement – any support you can provide is needed and greatly appreciated!
I would like to express my gratitude to Lezlee Bishop, Board of Directors President, for her leadership service and support over the years, but particularly throughout this search process. Thanks to all of our community partners and supporters like yourself, Mundi Project programs have brought music and arts to more youth than I ever imagined back in 2006.
