The community painted a grand piano for this year’s #PeoplesPianoProject!! You can see & play this piano at the Leonardo Museum cafe (no museum admission needed to do this).
Fun fact: this grand piano was our 1st public space placement in 2009. It was loved a lot by its previous owners and the community of Sorenson Unity Center so we decided to “upcycle” it into a painted piano.
This beautiful playable artwork was painted by ~270 kids and adults and the final artwork of the “Mighty 5” of Utah was done by the amazing artists of Visual Art Institute!
